I'M DONE!
I'M DONE!!
It was so motivational for me to read posts about other's journeys through the ARE obstacle course, so here's mine for anyone who cares
I started 2019 with a PcM fail, took some time off & then was preparing for my next test in March 2020, but Covid had other plans. I then decided to enroll in YA bootcamp in March 2021 & it was the best thing I could have done - shout out to Michael Riscica for everything he does. Bootcamp is 1000% worth it. Run, don't walk. I then passed Pcm, Pjm, & CE in a month.
Feeling confident, I moved on to the technical exams. I thought I could finish these in a couple months...... LOL
I failed PDD and PPD a few times over the course of a few months.
PPD was definitely the monster exam for me - I think studying for and passing PA helped me to the finish line there.
There is so much value in studying for the 3 pro-practice exams together, and then the 3 technical exams together. There is so much overlap in those two respective groups. It goes without saying that the ARE FB group is an INVALUBLE resource for content, advice, and support.
You're in the right place. Keep on keeping on. It's not a race! Consistency is the key once you have all the materials & resources and a support system in place!
Sources I used, re-used, re-used again, and again:
- YA Bootcamp & Academy & drills
- Amber Book videos, questions, practice tests
- Hyperfine
- WeARE
- ELIF's questions
