Arizona has a silly rule that says if you don't pass your first exam within 1 year, they throw all your information and you need to reenroll for ARE testing eligibility.

It seems that this rule was created to penalize women for getting pregnant and create another unnecessary barrier for them.

I've complained many times about this pathetic money grab, but the Arizona State Licensing Board pretends it's normal, while no other states have this rule.  I wish NCARB would get involved, but they refuse.

I don't know much about Arizona but I know that each state has it's eligibility requirement. For example, NY gives you about 4-5 years to finish the exams then you have to renew your eligibility with them, which is separate from NCARB's rolling clock. You should contact your state board and NCARB to clarify what's going on. I haven't gone through this process yet hoping I would finish the exams before my time is up.

    Good luck.

I had a similar issue... I was going through with the licensure proccess in Pennsylvania (where I went to school) but live and work in New Jersey. At some point (at least 3 years into my rolling clock) PA decided to change the rules so that you need to work or live in PA to purse intial license through the state. I had to reach out to NJ and reapply for initual licensure... luckily it was fairly simple and they let me keep my previously passed exams but I did panic initally! Maybe see if this is why you are also seeing "Eligibility expires".
