CE Pass

I just got my report that I passed my CE. This group has been so helpful I wanted to share my thoughts. This was my retake after I failed it on January. I decided this time to focus on the technical part of exam more. I have been watching Amber Book videos and I found them super helpful especially the PDD flashcards and practice test. I also started to read fundamental BuildingConstruction book to get familiar with the construction process ( since I have not spent that much time at the job sites)I feel these two filled the gap for the technical aspect of the test. Of course A201 and other G series are super important and I listened to Schiff Hardin Lectures over and over again till I feel like I can rewrite each devision by myself. Good luck!

Hi Saba,
What sources did you find most helpful for Construction Observation and Administrative Procedures and Protocols? I took CE a few weeks ago and scored a 3 in both of those sections, and passed the other sections.

Hi Michael,

This was my exact report when I took it on January. I think adding Amberbook PDD flash cards and practice exam, Fundamentals of Building construction chapters 2,6,13,16,19,20, and Hyperfine for CE helped me the most to pass it. Also I found some public projects online to get more familiar with the bidding procedures, Specs. Hope this helps! Good luck!
