R Values Study Session

Learn about R-values from Christine Williamson, creator of Building Science Fight Club is our Zoom study session this week. You’ll take the first five minutes of class to answer the question alone, but if you would like to get a head-start on that, here is the assignment:

50% of a wall is glass (R-2) and 50% of a wall is opaque and insulated (R-20). What is the composite wall R-value of the total wall, inclusive of both the glass and opaque portions?
