35% of the exams taken were retakes.

13,723 people took exams, but only 2,702 finished the ARE.  😢

Over 29,300 individual exams were taken!  I think this is 2020 data, which was 35-40% lower than average bc of the pandemic!  See it here:  https://www.ncarb.org/nbtn2021/examination

NCARB doesn't publish data like that per each exam, but PPD has the lowest pass rate.

For a long time I considered it just a $$$$$ making racket, and I refused to sign up for any more exams.  With the help of a very kind mentor, I was able to push through my anger and fears and conquer the ARE.

Richard - you've got 4 of these down man, you gotta finish this!  Don't let those 4 go way.  PPD and PDD are similar, and while that may not sound encouraging because you've had trouble with one, the point is you're studying for both right now whether you realize it or not.  Just keep at it - ask questions on here, look at youtube videos, take practice exams, etc etc.  You'll get it.
