What are good ways of learning how to run a firm and picking the right people for a project?

  Learn from successful people who have made it. One thing I notice is the successful people tend to keep the same key team members for a long time. It takes time to find the right people. Everyone has his pros and cons, and every time you have a new team member, you need to time adjust.
