PPD/PDD Exam - Unable to Schedule at Prometric for afternoon time slot
Has anyone else had issues scheduling a PPD or PDD exam for an afternoon timeslot?
My promertric will only allow me to schedule for the morning sessions; At first I thought it was just because there was no availability at other times, but then I also scheduled my PA exam and was able to get a late test time. I tried doing the same for similar day ranges (from feb all the way to march) and for PPD and PDD nothing after 8.30 AM is possible.
Is this just a policy with Prometric that exams longer than 5 hours have to be taken early in the day?

Hi Nastasia,
Prometric does not have a policy forcing you to schedule PPD or PDD early in the morning. Time availability at Prometric is based on a first come, first served basis. Prometric delivers many different exams, not just the ARE, so it is very possible that afternoons have been filled at your selected test center. You may want to check the hours of operation for the test center as well. If you would like to find an afternoon timeslot, you may consider selecting different dates, a different test center, or taking the exam using online proctoring.

There are only midnight, or late night available time slot. So is it the expectation now for us to take the 5 hours long exam at night? I
