Who writes the construction schedule in a Design Bid Build project delivery method?
The Schiff Hardin lectures mention it being the architect, but how would the architect know how long procurement and other construction activities take without the input of the contractor?

The B101 (owner/architect agreement) will outline the milestone dates - start of construction and substantial completion. The it's up to the contractor to hit the milestones. The owner really determines it before the contractor is even selected.
Hope this doesn't confuse you even more! Sorry, it's not super clear...! Sometime a contractor won't even bid a job because he knows he cannot meet the project dates.
