PcM Provisional PASS!
I took PcM this morning and got a provisional PASS on my 4th attempt; first attempt since March since I wasn't allowed to take it again until at least november. Since then, I passed CE, PjM, PPD, PDD and now PcM!
To refresh my PcM skills, I used Amber Book videos, flashcards and practice exams. I've said this on previous posts but AB is invaluable for passing these exams. I highly recommend it for all these exams - you won't be sorry.
However, prior to using AB, I used a plethora of resources such as Hyperfine, Architect Exam Prep, Designer Hacks, Erik Walker's PcM practice exam, Young Architect Academy which I will attribute my success on this exam to as well as AB.
AHPP, Ballast, AIA Code of Ethics, NCARB Rules of Conduct are also great resources for this exam as well as the mandatory B101 and C401. You need to understand financials, risk mitigation, ethics, project delivery methods and legal structures. Remember, you're a licensed professional and you have to adhere to the standard of care - don't forget this when taking this exam.
PS: don't take breaks. Keep the momentum from start to finish. Not being able to revisit questions is awful.

I took my PcM test yesterday (first attempt) and also failed it. All of your comments make a lot of sense to me. I am using Black Spectacles and some Ballast books, AIA Code of Ethics, NCARB Rules of Conduct and made a chart with most of the contracts for each project delivery. I think my weakness is financials right now. I will continue onto the next test PjM, while I also hone in the PcM weaknesses. Hopefully I can take PjM in a couple of months and then PcM a couple of weeks after...
Thanks for your input. And I agree, don't take breaks during testing. Practicing the exams before testing is also crucial, to familiarize with the platform, especially the whiteboard. Not having paper sucks... haha. But it is doable. Just have to get used to it.
