Warning: The new ProProctor might not work on Mac OS 10.13, 10.14, 10.15
Just a heads up to everyone doing remote ARE testing on a MAC, ProProctor updated their software recently (a few weeks ago and without telling anyone) and ProProctor may not work on MAC OS 10.13, 10.14, and 10.15.
Of course this is contradictory to the ProProctor user guide.
I spent 6 hours trying to find a solution on my 2012 Macbook Pro Retina, but was unable to get ProProctor working. This is after having used the same computer with MAC OS 10.13 to successfully take 3 remotely-proctored ProProctor AREs before this new ProProctor update.
The ProProctor technician said that the most assured operating systems for this new ProProctor software is MAC OS 11, and Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

I just ran into this frustrating issue yesterday. The ProProctor technician and I exhausted all possible fixes, but the new updated version is still not working on my IMAC OS 10.15. I was also able to take 2 previous remotely-proctored AREs before on the same computer before the software update.
Unfortunately forced to reschedule and reached out to NCARB, but have not heard back yet.
