Hi all,

Where exactly on the ncarb website or prometric website is the option to cancel an exam?

I completely understand that you're not allowed to reschedule an exam within 4 business days but I've had a life event come up preventing me from taking the exam next week and I'd just like to cancel the exam so it won't count against my specific section attempts.

If anyone has any knowledge on this, I'd really appreciate the help here!

  I think you can reschedule it through My NCARB - NCARB Record - Exams webpage, And it will take around 60 dollars for rescheduling, considering your exam gonna happen next week. I do not know there is a way to cancel it.

  Reach out directly to NCARB support. I had an emergency that prevented me from taking an exam within 4 days of my exam. For my situation NCARB was very understanding and allowed me to reschedule at no cost. Hopefully everything work out for you.

  Out of curiosity, did you contact them via phone or just their website contact form?

  Email, although my situation was pre-covid so the response time was generally faster. It might be best to try reaching them by phone.

  Reach out to NCARB Customer Service and they can assist you with your exam.
