What if Owner doesn't like Architect to hire a specific consultant?
Among A201, A101, or B101, is there any provision prohibiting the Architect from hiring a particular consultant if the Owner doesn't like that consultant?
Thanks for your thought in advance!

Hi Kyuhun -
Any such provision would be in the B101, since that's the contract between architect and owner. There's not a provision that allows the owner to prohibit the architect from hiring a consultant, but the architect's consultants are listed in section 1.1.11. If the owner doesn't want to work with a particular consultant, they should negotiate that with the architect prior to signing the agreement. The owner's other option would be to hire the consultants directly.
