Cost estimates
Can someone tell me which one is the most correct cost estimates?
In one study material,
New Project Feasibility = Project Comparison Method
Preliminary Design = Area or volume method
Schematic Design = Assembly or Systems estimate
DD/early CD = Parameter Method
CD's & Specs Done = Unit Cost Method
In other study material,
SD= Assembly Method
DD = Area method
Bidding= Unit Cost method
CD= Parameter method
In other study material,
SD= Area/Volume Estimate
DD/ CD= Subsystems Estimate
Can someone let me know which answers is ncarb prefer more?
Thanks

The cost estimate done later in the design process will be the most accurate. So the one done during CDs or just before the bids are sent out. The other info included in the question (method used to derive it) is irrelevant. Hope this helps!

rebekkak Thanks for replying.
I do understand the concept like what you mentioned. but I did see exam question before asking for the particular "Cost estimates method" term for particular project phase. So I just want to make sure which answer is "more correct"
Thanks again for helping out
