Updated Calculator and Whiteboard

Hi, 

I believe there's an issue with the updated calculator. I was not able to access the scientific option of the calculator as it only appears to have standard features. I encountered with questions on the actual exam that require these functions.  

I have exams coming up in the next couple of months and want to know if it's a technical issue or these questions are going to be removed and a standard calculator will be enough.

  Hi Kristine,

  The scientific options are not included in the new calculator. Items on the exam will continue to require basic math, but will not require the options provided within the scientific calculator, like the trig functions.  

  If you believe you encountered an item on your exam that required the scientific calculator options to solve, please reach out to NCARB Customer Service with details on the item.
