Difference between Classroom lock and Storeroom lock

    Classroom Lock: A key locks/unlocks the room from the outside; the inside lever automatically retracts the latchbolt for egress.

    Storeroom Lock: The door is unlocked by a key outside; the outside lever is inoperative; the inside lever automatically retracts the latchbolt for egress.

    The difference is that storeroom lock is locked by default, and always needs a key to open. Classroom can be locked, but is normally open.
