I had my first online proctoring experience two days ago, and besides some technical issues on my end the experience was okay. However, the whiteboard was lagging to the point where it was extremely difficult to use, and caused big processing spikes on my laptop to the point where I worried about a crash.
But - I knew people were having this issue, so before I signed up for online proctoring I was sure to test the whiteboard on the sample test provided by NCARB. There, I had zero issues whatsoever, and I was able to open up dozens of canvases, scribble all over them, and try everything to break the whiteboard without success - it ran perfectly with no lag. So, I assume the problem somehow lies with the Proproctor software, not the whiteboard itself.
Have others had the same experience? Has anyone had a smooth whiteboard experience within Proproctor, or figured something out to help?
