Limited Exam Days Available for Scheduling

Hello,

I have been attempting to contact NCARB since September 14, 2026, regarding ARE scheduling concerns. I have called the customer service number listed on the exam scheduling page multiple times during the stated business hours (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays) but have been unable to reach a representative. Depending on the call, the system has indicated either that the office is closed or that inquiries should be submitted via email. I have also sent emails but have not yet received a response. 

I am currently trying to schedule the Project Management (PjM) exam and have been unable to find any available Saturday appointments within a reasonable distance of Miami. As a full-time professional, weekday testing is extremely difficult, and I know many ARE candidates face similar scheduling challenges.

My understanding is that NCARB has expressed its commitment to supporting candidates throughout the licensure process and improving exam accessibility. With that in mind, I would greatly appreciate any assistance in identifying additional Saturday and/or weekend testing availability or opening additional weekend appointment slots, not only for the PjM exam but also for future ARE divisions.

At present, the only location I have found with occasional Saturday availability is the Pompano Beach testing center. Unfortunately, that location is not a practical option for me due to the extreme travel distance and the extremely negative reviews about others who have experienced this testing center, and I would strongly prefer an alternative testing center if possible.

The ARE process already requires a significant investment of time, effort, and preparation. Increased weekend testing availability would greatly benefit candidates who work full-time and are balancing professional responsibilities with their path toward licensure.

I would appreciate any guidance or assistance you can provide and hope this matter can be addressed as soon as possible.
