Trouble Scheduling In Person Exams

Is anyone else struggling to get PDD & PPD scheduled in person?

I have called NCARB customer service, waiting to see if they will be able to help, just wondering if anyone else is having the same struggles or if I'm the only person who doesn't want to take an exam from home.

I live two miles from a large downtown/city center & cannot get an in person PDD exam scheduled. I've been told that because it is a 5 hour reservation those spots are hard to come by & currently when I go to schedule, within the next six months the closest exam center is 147 miles away. This happened to me last time I scheduled an exam, I was finally able to get an appointment at a center 45 minutes away, but when you live in the capital city of a state I would think I could find a center much closer. 

I have taken online proctored & it was a horrible experience overall. Exam crashed both times & the worst part was my phone wouldn't verify my ID & my webcam couldn't focus well enough. Spent a half hour scrambling with customer service terrified I wasn't going to be able to take my exam.
