    The resource is useful to understand the separate spec sections for materials, as the exam may feature questions in relation to what specification section is most appropriate for a certain assembly, material, etc. It also helps break down the "order of operations" of a building by the order of the spec sections, starting with general/existing conditions, concrete (slab/foundations), masonry (bearing walls), metals (stud walls), and so on.

    I am just starting some of the practice exams for PDD and have made note to study this for the reasons listed above. You will be thankful you understand this content when you take the exam.
