Just passed PDD
I passed PPD and PA the last week and passed PDD today. It was much harder than PPD, which surprised me. I went into the test thinking that because it was much 'broader' that the questions would be shallower for me this was not true. I got through PPD knowing a few general steadfast rules about site planning but PDD pulled from much more knowledge. The test itself was quite difficult with plenty of tricks. I guess I expected more freebie questions.
I used amber book, the ncarb practice test, amber book's practice test, ballast book, and youtube.

Congratulations on passing PA, PPD, and PDD in two weeks! We're glad we could help you on your path to licensure.
Both PPD and PDD can get fairly nitpicky - you're correct that site planning is much more likely to show up on PPD, and more detailed questions about building elements are much more likely to make up a big portion of PDD - that project documentation PD of PDD often seems to sneak up on people!
I like to describe the difference, broadly, as "PPD is how many toilets does this building require, PDD is what is the total minimum dimension of the bathroom for this building" - you have to know about the same IBC and ADA requirements for either, but PPD is more general and big-picture, where PDD gets into the finer details - mostly. You'll still see some big-picture questions on PDD, and you'll see some more detailed questions on PPD, on average.
Cheers, and congrats again!
