What has been your online proctored exam initial check in waiting time?
Hi all,
Today I tried to take the PA test online only to be waiting for 2.5 hours with no response from the Prometric agent. I tried the little chat window multiple times. I tried requesting assistance, yet nobody answered. Both NCARB and Prometric have their phones down that was another let down.
Has anybody had this issue before and if so what did you do?
This is very unprofessional from Prometric. Don’t do the online exam. I gave it the benefit of the doubt with everyone posting in here regarding how online is a real bad experience. But i have to agree. Don’t do it. They are not ready and they do not know how to manage this.
NCARB can I get a refund for a service not provided please?

About 20- 30min of waiting each time. A couple dropped connections during my exam. In total probably 1-.5-2hrs of waiting for a proctor. The message says, thank you for your patients. We’re experiencing high volumes of test takers. Doesn’t prometric schedule the test takers? The message should be replaced with prometric is experiencing low volumes of proctors to assist the test takers. Overall very frustrating experience. I also hope for a full refund.
