PA Likely Pass- but exam crashed 3 times
This was my 2nd attempt at PA I took it previously in August 2020. I will say the biggest benefit for me was taking the tests (somewhat) in order. So far I have passed PCM, PJM, CE, and now P&A.
I feel like this was more of an emotional journey because of all the hiccups I had along the way. But the moral of the story is I STILL PASSED. I took it as a teachable moment (maybe only bc it had a good outcome? Still processing...)
Backstory:
I had taken CE remotely prior to taking this exam, and had no issues, so I figured, how bad can it be to schedule one exam that I wasn't able to get an in person appointment for?...I was in for a TRIP with this one.
- I got kicked off twice during security check in and had to repeat the process. The proctor who initially checked me in showed no record of me checking in, so I went through the procedure AGAIN, already not feeling to good about my prospects.
- Crashes are probably the new normal for ProProctor because not a soul seemed phased by my panic. Not sure if I should praise them for being helpful or scold them for inducing unnecessary testing anxiety?
- With 7 questions left (mid case study) I got booted out again. I didn't know if I would be able to resume my exam- but the proctors assured me it would remain where I left off & that I could continue.
Advise:
- Go in person if it's possible. Your mental sanity will be your saving grace to get you through anything.
