Addenda apart of the contract?
Are addendas apart of the contract documents. I'm my readings it says addenda are prior to the contract being executed. In A201 the 1.1.1 states addenda prior to execution of documents but also says not until include addenda portion relating to bid documents.
So a little confused, I thought addenda were changes made to the drawings before contract, after contract has signed then any charges can be called modifications.

That is correct. Addenda are a part of the contract documents, and they can NOT be charged as a change order because they are issued and incorporated before the contract is signed.
