IBC code references during exam

I’m approaching my exam date for a second attempt to pass PDD. I’m confused about where to find The given IBC code references during the exam. During my last ‘fail’ attempt, I was presented with many questions (not part of a case study) that would require that I either had portions of the code memorized, or that would be given a code reference. Things like fire separation, construction types and occupancy, etc. these questions did not provide a code reference for me to research the answer, so I found myself guessing on a lot of questions where I hadn’t memorized IBC code. All study resources say that memorization of the code is not required as the necessary sections of the IBC will be included as reference, but I have no idea where to find them during the exam. Am I missing something? Do I have to navigate to the case studies to look up code and then navigate back to the question? Please Help : )
