ARE Testing in Portland Oregon

Hi,

Back in October, I paid/scheduled an in-person test for 11.23.20 (next Monday). Last Friday (11.13.20) our governor issued another Covid-19 stay at home order effective for at least two weeks. Will the testing centers in the Portland metro area be open for testing still or will I need to reschedule for a later time? Will I be charged for rescheduling?

Hey Gilberto,

Prometric is continuously monitoring jurisdictional guidelines when it comes to in-person test centers. They update their Site Status page on regular basis. As of today, the Oregon test centers are open to all programs at full capacity, however, I recommend checking this page over the next few days to see if your local test center has been impacted.

If your test center does close, Prometric will contact you and you will receive a seat credit to reschedule your exam. One final reminder, rescheduling fees have currently been waived for all ARE candidates, so a second option would be to push your exam into December beyond the stay at home order.
