I did the first demo exam with the new white board feature last night.
I think the 75 practice items are more effective than any previous demo
exam I did here on NCARB.
The demo exam is great in my opinion. Only that I wish the actual exam
to follow similar/more straightforward exam structure and content.
Last night I used the white board only as a reminder tool for notes
after I have executed calculations in the calculator. I can transfer the portions
of information for calculations requiring multiple arithmetic stages. That's OK. Since one can forget an initial computation in the process.
As for trying to draw and stuff, I do not know about that now. That requires practice. I think the white board should be designed with its own calculator consisting of few of the TI-86/96 features. That will help/facilitate exammers calculations in a more intelligent manner. Please, DO THIS NCARM.
I do not think the white board will permit an exammer to finish a 95 items exam
in the allotted time of 3:15. Too much time is spent switching from calculator
to white board and visa versa. But I think the tool will be effective if the improvements and updates mentioned above are implemented soon enough.
Thank you NCARB for the opportunity to express these minor views. Put DEMO EXAM
as atopic list below.
