question about ballast practice exam

Hi guy, I'm studying ballast review manual. And yesterday I tried some questions in ballast practice exam and found the questions are very difficult and I could only answer 25% right. And it seems the contents of ballast review manual doesn't cover the contents of the questions. Previously, I found the questions in the ARE 5.0 Handbook are not that difficult. I hope some one can let me know whether the ballast practice exam's difficulty level or the ARE 5.0 Handbook's level is the same as the real exams. Many thanks in advance!

  The actual test is like that as well. the questions are not at all relevant to the study material. It is very strange.

  Hi. yes i failed. you need to study the sun, wind and light book. site plan and design handbook. all the balast even tho it seems to be way off from the actual test. amber book if you can. its a really tricky test. good luck

  I think a lot of people have had success with it. It is expensive tho. But if you can afford it. Its probably a good one

  I did not. I am now. And I haven’t taken a test with it yet. But the content is amazing and easy to understand

  Yes, I failed The PA test with ballast. I’d give ballast a 1 out of 10 rating. It has a lot of the content, But not all of it. And the way it’s written along with the practice questions are super confusing and counterintuitive
