DON'T GIVE UP!  I am confident that I will ALWAYS be confused while taking these exams.  After failing for 14-years with NO ONE test under my belt, I purchased ArchitectExamPrep for all (6) as a bundle for another $600.00; studied PjM for 2-months, then read that CE had a 70% pass rate (which I am 100% confident is complete BS); so I postponed PjM and studied for CE for 4-months, and Failed.  So, now I am studying for PjM, PcM & CE all at the same time, and there is WAY MORE overlap than people on forums are mentioning.

I recommend ArchitectExamPrep because of those topics I was completely a stranger to, they do a great job of referencing sections and chapters in the AHPP; and I am positive that my failures have come from NOT ABSORBING the boring readings of AHPP.  NOW, I am in love with this book, and the parallels I am witnessing between this latest bundle, are in fact starting to make a true sense.

Although I am schedule next week for PjM, then PcM in 3-weeks, and have not yet rescheduled CE, I am completely confident that I will be confused in the exams, just 1% less, and will fail those next 2-exams; however, my expenses are larger than most over the past 18-years, so I will pass one day.  Oh, and by c-a-r-b switching it up with no scratch paper at the end of this month, then making major overhauls for ARE5.1 in summer 2021; GET USED TO FAILING, GET USED TO CONFUSION, GET USED TO CURB BALLS THAT YOU CANNOT HIT, GET USED TO SLIDERS THAT SWIPE YOUR FEET OUT FROM UNDER YOU DESTROYING YOUR CONFIDENCE, and JUST DON'T GIVE UP...You'll get lucky one day!  In all positivity and with a pure happy life, hope this helps, YOU CAN DO!!!

I took my PcM yesterday and also Failed. I used AHPP and Black spectacles videos, flashcards and practice exams. I studied over two months and for 14 hours a week. I felt like I could not understand what the question was really getting after or what to focus on. Some questions were so long I couldn't keep concentration on its entirety  I'm at a loss what to study now. My colleagues are using ballast, since you used that and it didn't help. Not sure what to do next!?

    SCHIFF HARDIN lectures.

I'd recommend listening to the whole series for PCM.  I think those made a bigger difference for me than any other studying I did.

I failed PcM just 2 days ago and the "most likely you have failed" statement is always a knife to the chest. This was my second fail (having taken PjM 2 months prior), and although getting back up on the horse doesn't get easier, giving up would just make the wound worse.

With that said, I think the ARE Exam prep bundle is a good start to getting back into the PcM mentality. They organize the material nicely and personally, I think they touch up on the ambiguity of business management (focusing on the priorities rather than real world choices) nicely. But I do think that having outside material like Ballast, hyperfine and Wiley are always good to reference when topics are still unclear. Schiff Hardin lectures are always good. I tend to listen to those whenever I can just to brush up on contracts because I get reminded on different articles while studying for a new division every time.

Good luck in your studies and remember don't give up!

    Don’t give up!
I made a YouTube video with my tips for the Practice Management exam. I have given this advice to 20+ friends and colleagues and they have all passed. Hopefully this helps! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTme7fsJBhw
