Online Proctoring is the worst experience I have EVER HAD in my ENTIRE LIFE
I just spent 7 hours of my day trying to take the CE exam, and troubleshoot after prometric's error kicked me out of my remote testing session as soon as I got into the case study section. This included (3) 30+ minute waits for a Proctor, chatting with "technical support" who proceeded to have me check my firewall which already had an exception for Prometric (obviously - I was in the exam for 1.5 hours before being booted), and then to try connecting via multiple forms - ethernet, wifi (2 networks - I even asked my neighbor if I could try theirs), hot spot on my iPhone, and hot spot on my iPad - all of this amounting to nothing as I continued getting the exact same error code.
I have not had any internet issues on my end in anything other than the prometric site, and have never had a worse experience with ANYTHING in my entire life. My download speeds are easily above 400mb/s and yet somehow the connection was insufficient. I waited weeks just to take the exam due to this being booked up 3 weeks out except late night times. I was ready at the beginning of the year to take this exam and move on to the next material - however now I have surely failed the exam - to no fault of my own. Prometric's chat support response you might ask? Reschedule the online exam - and they couldn't help me at this time. They gave me a chat reference number and stated that they would call me back.
This system is absurd and I am beyond frustrated. I cannot believe that NCARB would stand behind something this useless. I spent literal days of my life if you add up all the studying - only to have it amount to nothing because I cannot complete the exam - I am BEYOND DISAPPOINTED.
