We run the system readiness & app download the day of exam per the instructional video.

How much time should we allocate ahead of our scheduled exam time or is this time built into our testing time block?

Is there a way to do a systems check & download the app ahead of test day ?

    Hi Joseph,

    You can complete the systems check now by going to this website - https://rpcandidate.prometric.com/.

    We recommend completing the systems check prior to scheduling your online exam. Also, make sure to read the ProProctor User Guide and the ARE Guidelines prior to scheduling your exam. Both documents outline the technical specifications for launching and taking an online exam. 

    You can download the ProProctor software from the System Readiness Check page prior to your exam. You should see a "Download & Install ProProctor App" button.

    Thank you for the clarification. This was unclear when noted in the instructional video as "on test day". Also, NCARB may want to include audio ( speakers ) in the system requirements.

    Joseph,

    Good point. You will need audio for your exam, so you can use integrated laptop/desktop speakers or an external computer speaker. Both are acceptable. One important note, make sure the speaker volume is turned up prior to launching your exam with ProProctor. The software will prevent you from changing the volume after clicking the launch button.
