OCLF Table 1004.1.2: gross versus net?
hi david,
gross in this table is basically outside or inside wall to outside or inside wall? and net is with items subtracted out?
so in table 1004.1.2 they basically determine “up front” which metric they use for each “FUNCTION”? so any number i am provide in an exam setting is the number i use here? i guess? no subtracting our things to get the NET?
or do i need to be alert to pull a NET SQUARE FOOTAGE off a drawing?
also. just practically. in the test i would be asked to do plumbing fixtures for some space with a function (distinct from “use” or “occupancy” i guess) and then once i have the - er i guess i call it an “occupant load” i would then refer to table 2902.1?
and in 2902.1 i run THIS number and split in in half make female? or i split it first and then run the male and also run the female.
just trying to sound it out practically before running some problem sets.
