Question: Unable to Return to "Viewed" Questions after Break
A strategy I (and others) have sometimes used in the past is to glance at the Case Studies to see what resources are available at the very beginning, and then to return to the other non-Case-Study questions.
If I use this strategy to view the first question of both of the Case Studies, and then go on a break, would only the "viewed" questions from the Case Studies be locked after the break, or all of the Case Study questions?
It is also worth mentioning that depending on the answer, the strategy of answering Case Studies first may no longer work; the resources may be barred if all of the Case Study questions are viewed before a break.

Hey Eric,
Good question. In your above strategy, only the first item within each case study would be locked following a break. After your break, you could look at the remaining items within each case. You can try out this strategy within the new ARE Demonstration Exam. You can access it through your NCARB Record. The navigation, break functionality, and tools within the demo are identical to what you will experience on test day.

Thank you, Nick. In this case, is it correct to assume that if one attempts all Case Study questions first and then takes a break then ALL of the Case Study questions will no longer be viewable?
This is worth mentioning for some people who advocate answering all Case Studies first.
