    Hey Eric,

Good question. In your above strategy, only the first item within each case study would be locked following a break. After your break, you could look at the remaining items within each case. You can try out this strategy within the new ARE Demonstration Exam. You can access it through your NCARB Record. The navigation, break functionality, and tools within the demo are identical to what you will experience on test day.

Thank you, Nick. In this case, is it correct to assume that if one attempts all Case Study questions first and then takes a break  then ALL of the Case Study questions will no longer be viewable?

This is worth mentioning for some people who advocate answering all Case Studies first.

    Hey Eric,

Correct, if you look at all case study items and then take a break, they will all be locked when you return from your break.

If we do the case studies first and leave some regular questions for after the break, will the case study references be locked out as well, or just the question at the bottom?

Having used this strategy twice online, you need to leave at least one case study question unseen so you can view it and it’s resources after the break.
