Scheduling an Online Proctored Exam

Hello,

How do you specify that you want to take an online proctored exam through Prometric's interface? I tried to schedule an online exam for December 14th, but I didn't see an online option when I went through all the steps.

Hey Ryan,

The ability to schedule an online proctored exam will not be available until December 14th. When you log into your record on that day and go to schedule an exam, the system will ask you whether you want to schedule an online or in-person exam.

We are in the process of finalizing that time now. As soon as the exact time is determined, we will be communicating that information to all candidates.

I just tried rescheduling my already scheduled test next week in person to online proctoring. I searched from the 22nd to January 8th and the earliest time was 6:30 PM to as late as midnight! Who takes a 5 hour test that late in the day and why are there no options that are earlier? I was thinking there would be evening times, but not ONLY evening times. I am reluctantly keeping my in person appointment. I am very disappointed in the lack of time variation.

Hi Megan,

Online proctored exams are available 24-hours a day, so what you are seeing in the scheduler are the times that haven't been reserved by other Prometric testers during that timeframe (December 22nd - January 8th). I suspect that the day and early evening times in that timeframe have already been reserved. If you are interested in online proctoring, I recommend selecting different dates when you define your search criteria within the scheduler.
