PPD Prometric Computer Issues

I took PPD this morning I had a horrible experience my computer froze half way through my exam, and gave a error message. The Prometric representative had to reboot the computer. I told her I had to go to the bathroom. I was close to tears at this point. I ran to the bathroom to clear my head. She got the computer working, however I was so frazzled after that. The computer brought the test back to the last question I did but I had to redo the layout for the question. Then some of my answers that were completed kept saying incomplete even though I answered the question. After studying so hard, I was so frustrated after this exam. My provisional score was a fail. NCARB please help!

  If this many people are experiencing similar issues with Prometric center, we should start a class-action suit. It cost not just the hundreds of dollars that we spent for the exam themselves but also all kinds of opportunities costs like time off work, transportation, accommodation, also any emotional damage it has caused. NCARB should support the action because the only reason we are going through this is because of the NCARB is authorizing the Prometric center to be the sole source of access of the exams. If we don't do anything there will be zero improvements and more people will be suffering from this whole process.

  Michael I went through the survey and the results so what now? I’ve been proposing for a while a class action because this is beyond a scam. I have been trying for years now to pass those 2 last exams that I had to take in version 5.0. All the others I passed on the first try on version 4.0 and now all of the sudden I can’t pass these ones after repeating them 3 times? I just can’t keep throwing money and taking time from my life and of making money to keep going nowhere with these exams. And I do want to get my license so I feel I’ve been robbed.
