Accessible parking count - rounding up or down?

    I would go with 22, it supposes to round up not down to be safe; at least it is the way I found it in every question about that

    Megumi,

    When it comes to code occupant loads, plumbing counts, ADA parking spots, etc... you always round up. If after doing an ADA calculation your parking count came out to 21.2, then you need 22 accessible parking spaces.

    Yes, in all life-safety and regulatory issues you take the conservatives/safe path - so round up, more stalls, thicker walls, more SF, wider egress, etc.
