Contaminated site remediation & Historical site remediation
Hello friends in the community,
I get some questions about what would be the correct method to clean a contaminated site, or historical sites, in designerhacks, and if I recall from an exam I took in June 19' I had some questions about the matter as well. However, I can't find anything in the PPI book, or the "Site planning and design handbook second edition".
Does anyone know where can I study this? Any help would be appreciated.
I copied a question from designer hacks below as an example of what I mean:
Contamination is found in the unsaturated soils on site. The owner has chosen a method of remediation which involves removing the contaminants from the unsaturated soil and treating them above ground. After the soil has been treated it will be released into the environment. What is this method called?
Correct answer is Soil Vapor extraction .
