Random things to know for the test?
Hi all, a lot of good informational posts are being deleted since they have had no activity for a year so a lot of my bookmarked posts are gone! I want to generate a list of random things we should be aware of for the test. A good example I remember from past posts is being able to know the size of an acre (66x660=43,560), converting to cubic yards, understanding critical path charts, when to choose a CM etc... What tidbits of information do you recommend?

Afxentis,
I think you already knew unit conversions but, just in case I leave them below
-
Length : 1 ft = 12 in / 1 yd = 3 ft
-
Area : 1 sq ft = 144 sq in / 1 sq yd = 9 sq ft
-
Volume : 1 cu ft = 1,728 cu in / 1 cu yd = 27 cu ft
Hope it helps!

I highly recommend studying the charts in blue boxes in AHPP. Those diagrams/ charts really helped me to understand project delivery methods and contract relationships. I outline exactly which charts to study in my newest YouTube video about how to pass PjM in ONE month. Mnemonics is a very good way for you to memorize facts and data that are otherwise very hard to memorize. It is often arbitrary, or illogical but it works.
A good mnemonic can help you remember something for a long time or even a lifetime after reading it just once. Without mnemonics, you may read the same thing many times and still not be able to memorize it…
First letter mnemonics use the first letter of what you want to memorize to construct a sentence or acronym. For example, “Roy G. Biv” can be used to memorize the order of the 7 colors of the rainbow, it is composed of the first letter of each primary color.
