Navigating during exam_Recourses available during exam_ADA and IBC
Hi,
In the demonstration exam IBC is one of the recourses provided in the case studies on the codes and regulations tab but I can't find ADA in any parts of the demonstration exam. My question is that would ADA and IBC be provided in the case studies for PPD or any other part of the exam? And if they are provided, all chapters would be provided or just some.
Thank you,
Yalda

The short answer is: Yes.
The entire IBC will not be provided, just the relevant chapters that may be needed. I say it like that because, if a chapter is given to you does not necessarily mean you need to use it. However, they will not ask you question not include the needed chapter.
The relevant sections to the ADA will be provided. Again, they won't ask a question and not include the needed section. You need to know where to look and how to find the correct information.
It is best to be familiar with chapters of the IBC and sections of the ADA when taking the exam. It will help you to know where and what to find. Plus, if you already know it, you really don't need to look it up.

Yalda,
Yes, if you have questions that deal with accessibility you will be provided with ADA. You won't get the entire code for either IBC or ADA - it'll just be excerpts. This being said, they will definitely give you way more excerpts than you will need. Don't be surprised when you finish your test and you find out that a) you didn't use half the code sections given to you or even b) you find that they gave you a code that you never used even once. All of that is intentional, they want YOU to figure that out and weed through the resources that are correct, and don't question it if it happens. Hope that helps.
