PA PASS!- Second Try
I just finished my second try at PA and was pleased and surprised to see a 'likely pass" at the end! This is my 4th exam passed, with only PDD and PPD left!
My main study materials were Ballast and the reference materials in the ARE handbook. I also used PPI and Weare practice exams in preparation, mainly because they are inexpensive and seem relevent. Looking back, I would say that the majority of the test questions related mainly to the suggested readings in the ARE handbook..
For exam strategy, I went straight to the case studies, completing them in an hour and 15 min, then 1 hour of MC, then break, then finishing up the last 35 MC questions. I did notice the break time was extended on the exam from 15 min to 25 min!
Some of the same questions from the first exam appreared on the second exam,My first exam had a few ada questions regarding clearances, second exam had none! Lots of soil questions and programming questions as well.
Reading throught these forums is helpful in exam preparation.... thank you to everyone who has contributed.

Good job!
What was your opinion on the WEARE exams? i took a practice exam and only felt half of the questions were relevant. Many of the questions in WEARE expected me to memorize specific code sections, and i recall one stange questions about a Ebenezer Howard... Though the other half i found to be fairly accurate to what is shown in the exam, site placement questions, climate questions, programming questions etc.
