  That would be great!  It may be worth mentioning that many (me as one) do work on essential facilities in my industry.  Thanks Mary for taking the initiative on all of our behalf!

  Waste of time to contact CISA, in my humbler opinion. The issue as to what entity is responsible for the definition of which professions are essential and which are not, is NOT Prometric, nor is it NCARB.

  CISA spells it out: 

  “This list is advisory in nature. It is not, nor should it be considered, a federal directive or standard. Additionally, this advisory list is not intended to be the exclusive list of critical infrastructure sectors, workers, and functions that should continue during the COVID-19 response across all jurisdictions. Individual jurisdictions should add or subtract essential workforce categories based on their own requirements and discretion.”

  Contact your state's AIA. The AIA is the "lobbying" arm of the profession. They are supposed to work on behalf of their membership. I do not know why the National AIA has not made a statement on this. 

  As it was explained to me today, Architecture was deemed non-essential in an effort to minimize the spread of the virus within office settings. It seems that the issue boils down to the definition of "essential workforce". It's one thing to work from home to minimize the spread of a virus. It's another thing to be considered non-essential.
