Prometrics Test Center Disappeared!

I’m trying to reschedule my test from June 24th to a later date but the test center in San Antonio Does not show up on their map anymore. My friends are having the same issue so it’s not just me. Has anyone had this happening to them? How and when can I reschedule my test?

  Hey Pegah,

  Prometric has classified Texas test centers as Essential Only which means they are not allowing ARE candidates to schedule exams. Unfortunately, the ARE is not considered essential as defined by the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). This is out of our control at NCARB. Prometric will update this test center openings list daily as government limitations continue to evolve. As soon as Texas test centers open to all programs, you will be able to schedule your exams. 

  Again, we apologize and understand this is extremely frustrating. We are continuing to work with Prometric to get you back in the test center as soon as possible.

  Nick Respecki,

  This isnt a Texas problem. This is an NCARB problem

  How did Dog trainers and Gambling Counselors seem to get added to Prometric's Essential Client Program. 
  
  Prometric is telling Candidates that people who want to schedule dog trainer exams have the ability to steal ARE Candidates test dates because NCARB decided not to join in this program. 

  My friends taking the Certified Public Accounting Exam have already resumed testing at Prometric testing centers. We don't believe you this is a state thing.. Prometric has told us ARE Candidates are the lowest priority until NCARB decides to join this program.

  Nick,

  Thanks for your response. Prometrics sent me an email informing me that they have cancelled my test. I have not received a seat credit for the exam that was cancelled. Any idea how long that usually takes?

  Hey Pegah,

  I looked into your issue and you should see a seat credit in your record this morning. Your new exam eligibility has been submitted and will reset overnight. This will allow you to schedule the exam within your record tomorrow.
