another question from archiprep
Why is this question's answer C instead of A or B?
Per A701, term 1.1: the bidding document includes A701, A101 and A201. (the following screenshot) Why the answer only lists A701?
Let me know. Thanks.

In the bidding that I have experienced, we often list the name and version of A101 and A201 and tell the bidders they are available from AIA, but not include the documents themselves for two reasons:
- These two documents have too many pages, and they are standard documents that most architects and contractors are familiar with
- They are copyrighted, and we cannot simply include them in the bid documents and have them copy and send to the bidders. They are quite expensive if you include original documents.
We do include the original of A701 since it only has a few pages, and has very specific information about the projects that we are sending out for bid.
Similarly, we also include supplemental conditions in the bid documents for the same reason.
