Signs/stamps drawings
If as a professional, you are legally responsible for signs/stamps drawings, if you subcontract a person to carry out the evaluation of the code, who signs and seals the architectural plans?
In my opinion, the code evaluation subcontractor will probably not want to sign the architectural plans and, if you sign the drawings, you will be responsible for any errors made by the subcontractor in the evaluation. Furthermore, canon IV of the AIA Code of Ethics establishes the following: “not sign and seal documents for which they do not have responsible control.”

As a license professional you should sign and stamp the dwgs not the code consultant similar to structure design. If there's an error and the client sue you, you'll sue the code consultant. That's why in AIA C 401 requires the sub consultant to carry Professional Liability insurance same as the Architect.
