Pratt Truss or Howe Truss

Hi all,

I am getting a conflicting information in regards to 'Pratt Truss' and 'Howe Truss.' The top picture is from Ching's Building Const Illustration. The bottom picture from Archi Studio companion. Upon googling some images of Howe Truss, it seems ASC is correct. I saw a really good you tube video as well, and they seem to match with ASC. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dic5RwIquXo

Is it because of steel truss vs wood truss? Any structural expert out there that can help explain?

  ASC in my experience is notoriously full of typos. Looks like they are swapped.
