Prometric cancelled exam, NCARB asking to pay again?!
AnsweredHas anyone had their exam cancelled by Prometric and then NCARB’s website is asking you to buy a seat credit again in order to reschedule? I was scheduled for the Programming and Analysis exam on 3/13/20. I got an email from Prometric that morning saying it was cancelled due to operational issues. When I try to reschedule the exam, NCARB’s website is asking me to purchase a seat credit again, even though I haven’t used that seat credit since I never got to take the exam. Prometric’s email says I can reschedule within 5 business days at no cost. Does anyone know how reimbursement would work for the original seat credit? Alternatively, will the unused seat credit show up in my NCARB account, and allow me to use it to reschedule? Would appreciate if someone who’s been in a similar situation could share their thoughts.
Thanks all!

Hey Kelvin,
You are not required to input an authorization ID to schedule an exam. I recommend calling NCARB Customer Service and they can review the specifics of your situation. Here is the contact page - https://www.ncarb.org/contact.
