    Hi Alexa,

The chart on page 512 of the AHPP is probably what you're looking for. It shows 7 different project delivery methods and the primary and secondary driving factor of each one. It was helpful for me as I was studying.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi Alexa,

I am also studying for PCM and I've tried to put all the info in a simple table to make it more compiled for my brain :).

    I hope it helps,

PS. disregard the info below the table those are side notes.

    Hi,

Thank you Scott and Sepideh for your responses. I think I'm looking for a bit more information than what is being shown in that chart on page 512, but it seems like its missing a lot of factors. I think it's missing perspective from not just the owners side, but what about the architect or contractor? Also, IPD isn't mentioned in the chart as well as other factors such as disadvantages of any kind, or fee structures to be used. Maybe I'm getting a little too in depth, but just trying to overall understand. Thank you again.

    Hi Alexa,

While there is certainly more that could be learned for each delivery method, I haven't seen a chart that provides all that information. You may be able to create your own as you read through the information, as Sepi has done, based on what you think is most important.

In my experience, the chart in the AHPP that I referenced does a good job summarizing the most important information. Knowing the primary and secondary benefits of each delivery method tells me what I need to know, and what the weaknesses may be of the other delivery methods. If a client came to me and said "I want a project delivery method that saves time and money" I can quickly identify the method that will best accomplish that. Or if a client told me they want to use a CM-Agent but I know they want to save money more than anything else, I can advise them to use a different method.

Regardless, there will be more you need to read to fully understand than just looking at a chart. If I come across a more thorough chart though I'll pass it along!

    Hi Scott,

I think I see what you mean. I guess I'm just the type of person that needs to see everything laid out in front of me to fully understand. But I do appreciate the chart that Sepi has made.

Thank you again for all your help and if you do come across more charts or information to help me, that would be awesome.
