Young Architect Bootcamp
After multiple fails between PPD and PDD, I passed my final PPD exam yesterday. If you are on the fence about the YA Bootcamp, don’t be and sign up. I was skeptical about the program and had messaged Michael Riscica multiple times before finally signing up. The secret weapon to passing these exams for me was the meetups with other bootcampers. Before the bootcamp, I’ve gotten my hands on most materials that others have suggested. Books, Architect Exam Prep, and even Amber. What I didn’t realize was I wasn’t really digesting the information, putting them to use, and turning them into knowledge. Through consistently meeting up with other bootcampers, talking over the questions, and researching over specific topics, I was able to actually internalize the materials. I could not have done it on my own without all the help I got from the group. We became a tightly-knitted community that I’m so grateful for and indebted to. There are a lot of other things the bootcamp offers and I can’t list them all. I just want to give a shoutout to Michael and the bootcampers and encourage everyone who is on this journey to give the Bootcamp a go.
