NCARB not solving LAG TIME issues
I am fed up with the lag time issues. This is not a prometric issues. This is an NCARB issue and they are not doing anything about it. I can search this forum and see this has been an ongoing issue for YEARS. I understand the cloud based platform for administering the test is probably the easiest, most secure, and cheapest way to do so, however it is coming at an additional expense you are requiring candidates to make.
I know I lost at least twenty minutes if not more of my exam time this past Monday waiting for case study supplemental material to load. The lag time is TERRIBLE. If you require candidates to use supplemental information on case studies, at the very least make it usable. It is beyond unacceptable. There are many ways NCARB could handle this issue. I know NCARB is averse to this but giving PHYSICAL copies of just the supplemental material or making all supplemental material local to the computer via a jump drive could help solve this issue.
The lag not only causes you to lose time but it also caused me to lose patience and added more stress to an already stressful event. This has been a well recorded issue that has gone on for way too long. Can you stop talking about fixing the issue and actually fix it?
