Employee budget calculation question

If I am reading this right... I would add up all the hours:

    2000 + 3000 + 4000 + 6000 = 15,000 hours total.

Then I would try to find the avg. billing rate/hours by taking $2M divided by 15,000 hours, = $133.33/hour.

    If employee D has 6,000 hours, 6,000 x $133.33 = $800,000 = Employee D's project fee.

    Hope this helps!

Are you assuming all 4 have the same salary rate?

Yes I was calculating an avg. rate. Unless there is more information on each of them individually, I would assume you would take the avg. If it is a case study question with a chart then you would have to use their rates individually.
