I had a similar question on my exam and it stumped me, so much so that I remembered and asked my Structural Engineer about it the next day. From what he told me, what you have done is correct. What stumped me was non of my study materials had covered the combined loads, so I didn't think that it was as simple as just adding the loads together, but it is.

    Hi

Your answer is right. Since the load is simple YOU COULD also use  SFD (Shear Force Diagram) and BMD(Bending Moment Diagram) to find M-Max
